Ramirez 1995 recommends:

• ·         The purpose of the task
• ·         The content of the task
• ·         How the task is accomplished
• ·         Location where the task

 ADVANTAGES

Ø  Suitable

Ø  Can be used to teach content as well as language

Ø  Can be combined with more traditional teaching methods

DISADVANTAGES

• Requires a high level of creativity and initiative
• Rely heavily on student motivation and commitment
• Students do not feel comfortable if the task occurs outside the classroom
• There was little interaction between teachers and students

 TEXTBOOK ASSIGNMENT

• Important part of education
• Used by teachers as a reference and teaching materials

CLASS SETS

            Some schools do not have enough texts to provide each student with a copy to take home.

PROBLEM

• Would be a problem if it does not have the ability to manage classes
• Many students who do not use the book to learn
• Many students who forgot to return the book into place

SOLVING

• Assign a textbook on the table
• Have textbook assigned to students
• Has a small library in the classroom

STUDENT WITHOUT TEXTBOOKS

            Student forget to bring textbook.

Your three options are:

• Not allowing participation without the required textbook.
• Allowing students to share their textbooks with others
• Allowing them to check out a textbook for the day
